Black Hills Winery and Brewery List

Prairie Berry

Prairie Berry is the offspring of over five-generations of a Black Hills winemaking family.  They are the hills most locally specialized winery, featuring wines produced from native buffalo berries, chokecherries, rhubarb, and wild plums. This winery also produces both local and traditional grape wines, as well as South Dakota produced honey wine.

Naked Winery

Located near Hill City, Naked Winery is gets it’s name ‘Naked’ from the lack of additives and sweeteners that are fermented with the grapes (most produced in Oregon and Washington). The theme plays on it, with likes of Climax Red and Tease Riesling. Sure to be a fun stop with an ‘elevated’ mood.

Stone Faces Winery

The third of the three wineries located near Hill City, Stone Faces. A beautiful winery nestled against a small creek, Stone Faces offers a variety of wines, from the Full Throttled made for Full Throttle Saloon in Sturgis and an annual Sturgis Merlot, to several whites and multiple fruit and dessert wines.

Belli Joli Winery

When Belle Fourche comes to mind, most local think of cowboys, rodeos and the small town just north-east of Spearfish. Believe it or not, though, nestled along the Bell Fourche river is Jackson Vineyards, the grape producer for all of Belli Joli’s fine wines. The actual winery is located up in Belle Fourche, but we’ll be stopping by their lovely little tasting room in Deadwood.
